Documentary Subjects

Marshall Snyder He is a young adult aged 24 who dropped out of college after one year because of a lack of money. Now he is working two jobs and living with his girlfriend try to save up money to go back. I could document the struggles he goes through in order to receive an education in the U.S. to find a better job. The struggles that many working class Americans may go through.

Charles Buck This man is aged 23 and going through the struggles of becoming a big name musician. He started out at a young age going to venues and working at them during his high school years. He went to school for his passion in music. Now he wants to get his name and music out there for people to hear. A documentary about him would certainly help in that regard.

Christine Bishopp Christine is young student in college with a major in accounting. She currently has a paid internship she works at several days a week. She is a very successful student with A's in almost all of her classes. This documentary would inspire other young students that going to school and doing well can land you many opportunities in life and for someone's future. She has struggles like any other student but she strives for success.

Bio

Short Bio Lived in South Bend all of my 22 years of living. Went to John Adams High School and this is my 5th year here at IUSB. Grew up in the computer age so I've used them all my life. I love art and making it! Favorite movies: Scott Pilgrim, Wolf of Wall Street, Social Network, Matrix(series). Favorite shows: Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Futurama Directors: Martin Scorcese, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher Music: Lorde, Crystal Castles, Arctic Monkeys, Purity Ring, Yeah Yeah Yeahs Goals after graduation: Move out of South Bend, find a successful career, and have a family! Why are you interested in making media? Art is how people express themselves. Everyone is different. We express ourselves through the use of media. Art is a creation of that media.
